Are Descente Skijackets Any Good

look back on three fantastic evenings

from the heading: music and literature.

It is finished. 3 appearances queued. 3 cities in the heart of Germany. 3 outstanding locations. 3 very different impressions. 3 mentalities. 3 days. And most of all three experiences, regardless of my band, I be back soon with the on-going tour.

solo performances I had ever been given a few, but there were always rare compared the performances of Illiterate .

should it be different this year. I had made a few appearances darzubieten with a different program than we can in the band.

were in the band and the originals are always the focus. We want our songs, our creativity, our skills and our ideas a podium to give a platform.

Moreover, the very rock songs. In solo program, this should be different. Only with an acoustic guitar and should be armed with a minimum of technology, reflecting the feeling of a pure Unplugged -experience, I got up.

focused mainly on the program cover versions - this time the distribution was more likely 70 to 30 (70 percent cover versions). For the illiterate this is more the other way.

The range was designed so that listeners in the areas Rock, Folk and Blues their money came and was served a period of not less than 50 years (!) - At least in Torgau . Leipzig and Berlin also came at least another 40 years of rock history.

With songs like " No other baby " in 1958 by the Vipers , " The times they are a changing " 1964 Bob Dylan , " Heart of gold " 1972 Neil Young " Run to you " 1985 Bryan Adams , " Wonderwall " 1995 Oasis to current hits like " Chasing Cars " by Snow Patrol or " You want to make a memory "by Bon Jovi was a wide range of artists and bands (of course, were neither the Beatles or the Rolling Stones missing) brought back into the musical memory.

but also songs from their own repertoire, such as "Do not leave me here ", "Here's my heart " or "Passing thoughts " were represented.

I would like to thank several people:

First of all, my father, Wolfgang , both the location in Leipzig and organized in Torgau , the preliminary talks, led all Details accounted etc. In addition, he accompanied me to the gig in Leipzig (and not lost the nerve, when we were hopelessly tangled, the recruitment of the club).

Then I would like to thank the teams of all three locations, all were very helpful and me and my companions always supplied us with everything we wanted. (Here again, the team was in Torgau stressed that already hard contacts for future appearances as a soloist and with my band was geknüft "The Illiterate ").

I would also like my mother, Ellen , and thank my friend, Isabel , accompanied me to the gig in Torgau and evening made even more beautiful to me. I thank you both and love both of you.

Very nice, I also found the visit of Anne and Georg in Leipzig . Nice to see you two have found the way to the concert (even if belatedly, what we did no other way to see but nice that we were not only too stupid, the way immediately to find). I'm very happy. Of course, the fact that Anne spontaneously rocked the stage with me (in the song "Tomorrow " by Avril Lavigne ).

I thank Jenny also and Marcel, who took me to Berlin (and all the technology and who also helped me with). Thanks for the driving, the entire night and the good time.

Thanks also to Heiko , who organized the concert in Berlin and had together with the managing director of Tommy's Saloon birthday that night also. It was great fun for you (and chock-loading) to play. Nice to hear that it was well received and the next shows are not unlikely.
And of course I would like to thank my band members Benny and Frank , without their music stands and acoustic guitar, the gig took place probably not. I'm looking forward again soon with you both want and Koko on stage.

All three concerts had their own charm, its own flair and I remember. I would like to return in all three cities.

information on other performances will be available as always in this blog.

And always remember: " Train kept a rollin 'all night long "
